Partnership Alpitour World and 24 ORE Culture at Mudec

Since 2025, 24 ORE Cultura and Alpitour World, Italy’s leading tourism group, have launched a two-year partnership project, marking two important anniversaries: the tenth anniversary of MUDEC – Museum of Cultures in Milan and the centenary of Turisanda1924, the Group’s historic brand. An ambitious project, born with the aim of promoting and deepening the value of travel through art and the discovery of the different cultures of the world.

The initiative came at a particularly significant time for the Museum, which celebrated its tenth anniversary with a rich program of exhibitions and events dedicated to travel, designed to explore the theme in all its forms, from the physical to the interior to the most imaginative, dreamlike, and extrasensory.

A communion of intentions and values that gave rise to a close collaboration, the first event of which was the launch of the exhibitions “From muralism to street art. MUDEC Invasion”, of which Alpitour World together with Turisanda1924 was Sponsor, and “Travelogue. Stories of travel, migration, and diasporas”, whose Alpitour World program, together with Turisanda1924, included themselves as partners in five meetings, free and open to the public, which explored the exhibition’s themes thanks to the intervention of exceptional guests and collaboration with local cultural institutions and organizations.

From April to July 2025, the MUDEC spaces hosted a new multimedia installation created with the support of Turisanda1924. The aim was to involve the public in building a sound archive of testimonies related to the idea of travel, participating in the drawing for an exclusive tour of Mexico by Turisanda1924.

In the sign of this same vision, the great autumn exhibition“MC Escher. Between art and science” was an opportunity to develop a series of collateral initiatives designed to connect cultures and people and foster access to art and culture. These include an Open Day with 1,000 free admissions made available by Alpitour World and Turisanda1924, to offer citizens the opportunity to experience the Museum’s spaces and offerings free of charge, and the promotion of educational workshops dedicated to the public.

The same focus on accessibility and participation characterized the support for the exhibition “100 Photographs to Inherit the World”, which interpreted the journey through the language of photography as a key to reading and interpreting the world. As part of the project, Turisanda1924 offered citizens two free guided tours with workshops dedicated to families.

Today, Turisanda1924 is the exhibition sponsor “Matisse. The world in a room”, where travel becomes an artistic and imaginative experience through Henri Matisse’s universe and his relationship with places, cultures, shapes and colors. On the exhibition, Turisanda1924 renews its commitment to citizenship, offering two free guided tours with workshops dedicated to families and an Open Day with 1,000 free admissions, to make the art experience even more accessible and participatory.

A project that combines tourism and culture and tells the story of travel as an experience of growth, encounter, discovery, and openness to the world.
