Robert Capa. Nella storia

In this exhibition and the accompanying catalog, we see the deep human truth of the events Capa documented. Here we have the quintessence of Capa’s work. Even in the midst of war, his camera recorded few corpses or atrocities. Capa was primarily concerned with the living, not the dead. His real subject as a war photographer was the triumph of the human spirit even over the most terrible hardships, although he also made images of people whose fate was tragically cut short by their suffering.
