Street Art is a fascinating and mysterious world: who is hiding behind the big hoods and dark glasses? Who are these artists who suddenly appear, leaving their works of art on city walls?

The fascination of the mystery surrounding these artists and their most significant works told to children through experimentation. How does Banksy make his works so quickly?

He as well as others have now honed a technique that not only facilitates their work but also makes them recognizable at first glance. Banksy uses the stencil technique, cuts out his subjects in the studio, suddenly appears at night and as if by magic his work appears.

In this volume, we wanted to reintroduce the young reader to some of Banksy’s most characteristic scenarios and stencils for making some of his subjects.

Jo Loring-Fisher – She is an illustrator, storyteller and mother of four. She lives in England. She loves nature and enjoys creating images using a range of materials, including collage, inks, paint and printmaking. Many of her inspirations come from observing nature and everyday life.
