After “Small Bestiary of Water Animals,” comes the second volume dedicated to land animals. A scientifically popular and easy-to-read book aimed at young readers who want to get closer to the kaleidoscopic diversity of terrestrial life. Through a focused selection of species, more or less known to the general public, and enriched by Cecilia Ferri’s illustrations, the volume offers an engaging account of the peculiarities and oddities that characterize the creatures that inhabit our planet.

PAOLO DE PIAZZI – Naturalist by training, communicator by choice. Over the years he has realized that to reconcile his passions, culture and words, the perfect job is that of science popularization. He has worked for 20 years with several Milanese museum institutions, tar the Civic Museum of Natural History, dealing with education and juggling nature, art and pop culture.

CECILIA FERRI – Graduated from the Illustration and Comics course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where she also earned a two-year degree in the Illustration for Publishing course. Over the years she has participated in several exhibitions, including the Macmillan Prize in London and the Bologna Children’s Book Fair. He has published several illustrated books with major publishers.
