TVBOY Capsule
Integrating art with the symbols of contemporary society: this is the message of the Italian artist, among the leading exponents of street art with a neo pop matrix. A message amplified by a colorful and irreverent capsule collection.

Provocation and engagement in an author’s capsule
Provocative images and messages of social change invade backpacks, mugs and notebooks: this is the hallmark of the art of TVBOY, an internationally renowned Italian street artist who has signed for art&design24 a highly irreverent pop capsule.
The artist is one of the leading exponents of the neo pop street art movement internationally and one of the most recognizable signatures of his generation. His urban art interventions in major European and American cities are famous, authentic satires inspired by the most heated issues of current political and social affairs, from climate change to the issue of migrants.
In the tradition of Pop Art, TVBOY has sensed that the power of art is that of wide dissemination and thus has given birth to art that is both unique and infinite, that can multiply and invade newspapers, TV, social networks. A message that is also amplified by the objects in this capsule in which some of its most iconic images – contemporary reinterpretations of classical painting characters or pop culture icons – are transformed into tangible symbols of irony and provocation. Each object in the capsule thus becomes a vehicle for reflection and dialogue, capable of taking art beyond traditional boundaries and making it part of everyday life.
The creation of this capsule is the result of a path undertaken with the artist back in 2018, a collaboration that came about by chance. On the occasion of the exhibition at Mudec in Milan dedicated to Banksy in 2018, A Visual Protest. The Art of Banksy, TVBOY created a protest mural on the museum’s surrounding wall at 56 Tortona Street. The mural, which can still be seen today, depicts a hooded street artist, portrayed from behind, and plays on the ambiguity Official/Un-official, referring to Banksy’s unofficial exhibition that took place inside the museum’s halls. From the “clash” came an interesting dialogue, which saw the Museo delle Culture and TVBOY collaborate on the public art project A Wall That Unites and a solo exhibition of the artist’s own at Mudec in 2021.

The brand’s collections
TVBOY’s capsule is one of the collections created by art&design24 to transform everyday objects into signature pieces. It is a project that has seen the collaboration of other artists, creatives and illustrators, including Vanna Vinci, who signed a capsule dedicated to the myth of Frida Kahlo, and cartoonist Maicol & Mirco, protagonist of a series dedicated to his iconic Scarabocchi.
